WHILE SHE WAITS- shows the emotional transformation during the last months of her pregnancy in a poetic and melancholic way.

In a subtle choreography a woman slowly desengages from a familiar and structured world, about to enter a world yet unknown to her. While She Waits shows the emotional transformation during the last months of her pregnancy in a poetic and melancholic way. What happens during the long waiting until the unknown reveals itself? And how do we align a child being born with ourselfes being reborn as a mother?

This film was premiered at Cinedans Film Festival in 2019 at EYE Amsterdam followed by divers international dance film festivals and got an award for Best Cinematography at Experimental Dance & Music festival in L.A.
