Die Krähe (The Crow) is a composition of pictures and scenes inspired by Franz Schubert’s song with the same title. The original music is alienated and the irritable pictures are slowed down, so that scenes and sound turn into a smooth, soothing composition. In the virtual story without beginning and end the world of a little girl turns into troubling mystery. There is the tension of the unknown, one senses that some threatening incident happed or is about to happen. This video shows in a dense form the contradictions, irritations an irrational dreams of childhood.
