The artist’s video ‘Ich will raus’ (I want to get out) addresses the wish to escape the dreariness of everyday life. Images of people are deliberately avoided to focus the attention of the viewers onto the airplanes. The viewers should feel as if they were leaving everything behind and taking off along with the airplanes – escaping everyday life and flying away as if in a dream. The soundtrack of the video is based on the 80s pop song “Sehnsucht” by Purple Schulz, Wyss, however, manipulated the original sound so that it has lost its sweet innocence and has taken on a much more haunting and unsettling undertone.
